Ai - formação
Read this article "How AI can save you time: 5 skills you no longer need to learn". Do you
agree with this perspective? Do you think AI can really save us time? Do you think there
are skills we will no longer need to learn thanks to its existence?
People are scared of an uncertain future where they risk losing their jobs, stability, and value in society as their skills are getting more easily automatable. However, AI will always need human collaboration, and sometimes intervention, to function properly.
This is the first sentence that caught my attention in the article, and it makes perfect sense to me.
I mostly agree with the article’s idea that AI can save us time, but I think it exaggerates how many skills we can stop learning. AI is very good at speeding up repetitive or simple tasks like writing drafts, editing videos, or analysing data. This can help people focus on more creative and meaningful work. However, we still need to understand the basics of these skills to guide the AI, check its work, and add the human touch that machines lack.
So, rather than replacing skills completely, AI changes how we use them. We might not need to learn every small technical step anymore, but we still need to know enough to think critically, make decisions, and improve what the AI produces. In short, AI saves time — but it doesn’t replace humans!
